AI image tools are useful for exploring colors, patterns, and bold visual directions. But their output is usually one flattened picture. A crest, a player number, and a background graphic may look like separate pieces, even though they are all part of the same image.

The extractor separates the work into manageable stages: review the base artwork, supply the identity details, and choose the jersey and roster information. Your complete original concept stays with the order so the production team can see what you liked.

The key point: logos and numbers may disappear from the extracted references because they are handled separately. Those references are one part of the process. You approve a production proof before your jersey is printed.

In the Review tab, the extractor focuses on base artwork: colors, patterns, and main graphics. Logos, badges, lettering, player names, and numbers are intentionally removed from these references so the underlying design is easier to assess.

For example, imagine your AI jersey design has a lion graphic, a team crest, and the number 17. The extracted panel should help you review the lion and its surrounding pattern. The crest and number are handled in Logo & Numbers, the next tab. An empty space where the number appeared does not, by itself, mean the extraction failed.

Your original concept remains attached to the order. Upload the logo files you want used and describe the number style and placement. This gives the production team both the overall visual direction and the separate details needed to rebuild it.

When should you rerun an extraction? Review the colors, pattern, and main illustration on each side. If an important graphic is missing or the base design is wrong, rerun that side. If only names, logos, or numbers are missing, continue to the next tab.

The images below illustrate this separation. They are examples of the workflow, not a final manufacturing proof or a promise of an identical result.

1. Upload the complete concept

Start with the largest version of your AI jersey design. Keep the logos, names, and numbers in this original image; they show the production team your intended finished look. The app supports PNG, JPG, and WebP files. We recommend at least 2,000 pixels on the longest side and 1,200 pixels on the shortest side for a clear reference.

2. Choose the front and back views

If your upload is a flyer or a larger composition, select the areas that best show each side of the jersey. Keep the full artwork visible within the selected area. Check that your front selection shows the front and your back selection shows the back before continuing.

3. Review the base artwork

Look at the front and back extracted references alongside your original AI jersey design. Check the dominant colors, pattern direction, and main graphics. Missing logos and numbers are expected here. Rerun a side when the underlying artwork needs another attempt, then continue to Logo & Numbers.

4. Add logos and number details

Upload your crest, sponsor marks, or other identity files, then provide the number style and placement details. Use separate, clear logo files whenever possible. A small logo inside an AI image may contain distorted lettering or invented details. Supplying the actual mark tells the team which version to use.

5. Select the jersey and enter your roster

Choose the garment body and neckline, then enter player names, numbers, and sizes. For an order without individual player details, use size quantities instead. Double-check every name and number against your team list. A correct design still needs correct personalization.

6. Review the order and approve the proof

Check the artwork references, garment choices, roster, quantities, and production terms before checkout. After purchase, Gear Team Apparel prepares the final production artwork and sends a separate proof. Your approval is required before production. Compare that proof with your concept and review logo placement, spelling, numbers, and the overall design.

Gather these items before starting your AI jersey design order:

• The complete concept image, including the details you want on the finished jersey.
• Clear front and back views, when available.
• High-quality crest and sponsor logo files.
• Player names, numbers, and sizes, or a size quantity list.
• Notes about the colors, placement, and graphics that matter most.

Before uploading, enlarge the image and inspect the important details. If the team name is blurry or a sponsor mark looks invented, make a note and supply the correct artwork. The original concept provides visual direction, while your separate files and instructions resolve details that AI may have guessed.

Be specific about your priorities. “Keep the green lion large on the chest” is more useful than “make it look the same.” Mention any areas where the front and back should match, and identify details you want changed from the concept. Use artwork and logos you have permission to use.

Is the extracted image the final artwork?

No. The extracted panels are design references for Gear Team Apparel’s production team. They are not print-ready files or the finished product. The separate production proof is your opportunity to check the artwork before printing.

Will my finished jersey be missing its logos and numbers?

The extraction separates those details from the base artwork. Add the intended logos and number details in the next tab, and check them on your proof. Your original AI jersey design stays attached to the order as the overall reference.
