How do I save and share my custom designs?
Make sure you are logged into your account. You can visit Your Locker Room by clicking the link in the global Utility Navigation at the top of the page or from the link in My Account. While designing an item in the product customizer, you can save it to your Locker Room at any time by clicking the “SAVE” button underneath the image of the garment you are designing.
Can I edit an order that has previously been placed?
If your order has not already gone into processing, we will be happy to revise it. Otherwise, you may need to place a new order for any additional items needed, or return any items that we were unable to stop from shipping.
Does Gear make changes to my logos or numbers if I’m off centered in any way?
Our design team reviews each order that is summited. If we see uploaded images that appear to be off, we will make the needed changes. In the case of a major change, we will let you know prior to making the change.
Why is my logo Blurry or Pixelated?
This can happen for 2 reasons. The first and most obvious reason this can happen is
the image is low resolution. We recommend uploading graphics at 300DPI to make
sure the printed item has clean, unpixellated imagery. The second reason this
can happen is if the image is scaled beyond 150% of its original size shown in
the builder. The builder can only render scaled graphics accurately to a
certain extent before it pixelates the preview, regardless of the image’s
actual resolution. If you are unsure of the exact reason your image is blurry
or pixelated, you can email the logo to freedesign@gearteamapparel.com
with a brief description of your issue.
Do you validate the designs to make sure there will be no pixelated or distorted graphics?
Every uploaded element is reviewed by our designers. 80% of designs that need to be revised are cleaned up by a Gear designer. If the design is beyond an “easy fix” we will refer back to the customer to discuss alternative solutions.
Will my names, numbers, or logos be the same on different sizes?
Names, numbers, logos, and any other relevant elements will undergo scaling adjustments based on the size of the product ordered. It is imperative for customers seeking identical customization across various sizes to explicitly specify this requirement within the designated order notes. Failure to provide such explicit instructions may result in proportional scaling to meet the size specifications of the ordered products.
Do you do rush orders?
We can rush orders during the non-busy seasons. Please call 800-984-6223 for current information. Rush fees are applied to all rush orders.
Is what I see, what I get?
We can not guarantee color preferences on your device’s screen settings. Subsequently, we can’t guarantee the colors will match your screen device. However, the colors we offer are considered the industry standard. The positioning of our graphics and design elements is constant. No matter the size what you see is what you get. (Effects patterns are never the same on every jersey. Our “Effects Patterns” are designed not to be constant.)
How do your products fit?
Please reference size charts for appropriate sizing. You can also contact one of our sales reps. for further assistance. Our current product line is slightly oversized for comfort and performance, unless otherwise noted.
Production Times?
We strive to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Orders are processed during our regular business hours Monday – Friday; 9am – 5pm. Any orders placed after business hours or during the weekend will begin processing the following business day, including rush orders (7 business days). We print and sew-to-order, which requires a certain amount of manufacturing time. If you need your order sooner than 7 business days, we advise customers to use our online chat feature or call during normal business hours.
How do you handle returns?
All of our products are custom made for you and you only. Consequently, we can not accept returns/exchanges. However, f we find that a mistake was made on our end, we will gladly redo your order and take back the incorrect product.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
We do offer discounts for bulk purchases. Please call us at 800-987-6223 and ask for a Gear representative.
Can I pay with a school purchase order?
You betcha! We happily accept school purchase orders.
Can I get a sample prior to placing my team order?
We will be happy to send you a sample. However, our samples our random colors and prints. Samples are intended to assure customers of our products sublimation and construction quality.
